Coaching Requirements
High School
See the below requirements for Head/Solo Coaches and Assistant Coaches for all high school levels.
Head/Solo Coaches
- Age 21+
- USA Lacrosse Member (active through end of season - renewed annually)
- Background Check (completed every two (2) years
- USA Lacrosse Bronze Certification (completed annually)
- Abuse Prevention Training
- Cultural Competency
- Concussion Awareness
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Rules Exam
- USA Lacrosse Silver Certification (completed one-time only)
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Completed through an accredited institution - generally renewed every two (2) years
Assistant Coaches
- Age 18+ (Not in High School)
- USA Lacrosse Member (active through end of season - renewed annually)
- Background Check (completed every two (2) years
- USA Lacrosse Bronze Certification (completed annually)
- Abuse Prevention Training
- Cultural Competency
- Concussion Awareness
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Rules Exam
Youth
